Frequently Asked Questions
Pages not displaying
Check in Pages List by looking down the list of pages to ensure that the particular page is switched on. You should also check in the particular Page Setup that the ‘Page Start’ and ‘Page Stop’ are left open (blank) or that the date is allowing the page to be displayed (still current).
Remember, when you return to the live site after changes, always refresh the page and if a no-show persists, clear your cache. Your browser will keep a local copy of images, css and javascript files to speed up your browsing. Each browser has a different way of clearing the cache but a quick generic way is to hold ctrl and F5 in windows, or cmd and F5 on a mac.
It is possible that the title (name) of the page has been cut and pasted from another file. This can disrupt the code, so check this by re-entering the name by keying it into the Page Name and refreshing the page. The Page Name may be corrupting the URL. This can happen where apostrophises, quotes, questions marks, etc, and other similar punctuation have been entered.
Flightdec keeps a cache of generated pages that have been visited. This is cleared automatically whenever a change is saved for your page but if you are still having problems displaying your changes try to clear this manually by click the reload icon in the page curl located in the top right on the front end of your site, or by clicking the red box icon on the edit page if it exists. If it dosnt then no cache is found.
