Comments

To enable and allow commenting on a page, comments on must be enabled in the page setup, for each page.

Comments can be set to be moderated or un-moderated depending on the setup of the site. You may also allow an image to be added to the comment.

When a comment is made an alert will be sent to the moderation email address in the site setup and to anyone invited to edit the page.

To enable/disable Comments

Edit or create your page.
Click on 'Extra Features'.
Select or deselect the type of comments you wish to enable or disable.

Comment Permissions

Moderated: Comments from registered users will be pending. An email will be sent to the site moderator and any user invited to edit the page the comment is made on.
If a user has the permission "Trusted Member" their comments will not need to be moderated.
The members area landing page must be activated to allow moderated comments, as a user must be able to be logged in otherwise they are anonymous.
Anonymous: Anonymous comments will allow visitors to create comments, this will include members who have not logged in and the general public.
Unmoderated: Allowing un-moderated emails will by pass the email alert system and make the comments live once they have been submitted.
Images: Allowing image uploads with comments will give the user an option of attaching an image to their comment. The default dimensions will be 100 x 100 pixels but can be changed in the site setup.

Comment Moderation

To moderate a comment, a user who has the correct privileges may edit a page and click on the comments button, located on the right hand side above the text editor. This button will only appear if comments have been made.

A moderator may also click on the link supplied in the alert email sent to their email address when the comment was made.

For an administrator who has the moderation permission, a 'Comments' button will appear in the left hand Flightdec menu.

The 'Comments' page will show all un-moderated comments unless a page is specified by clicking comments from the pages edit screen.

Comments may be edited which will automatically attach 'Edited by moderator' to the end.
